I am getting the following error

    I have created my API key correctly and I am getting the following error:

    Error type: “Forbidden”. Error message: “There is a per-IP or per-Referer restriction configured on your API key and the request does not match these restrictions. Please use the Google Developers Console to update your API key configuration if request from this IP or referer should be allowed.” Domain: “usageLimits”. Reason: “ipRefererBlocked”.

    Did you added your own Google API key? Look at the help.

    Check in YouTube if the id UC66OuzXkc_riLo3N-0UMHqQ belongs to a username. Check the FAQ of the plugin or send error messages to support.

  • Yeah I have the same problem. Im not sure how to solve it since adding your own domain to the list will not fix the problem. I tried adding poselab.com to the referrers list but that didnt help either.

    You do not have to add poselab.com. This is a problem that many users have with the API key of Google. There is the same problem in other plugins that use the Google api key. Some advices:

    • Do you use a CDN? delete the referer or add the ip of the cdn
    • Eliminates the referer
    • Eliminates the API key and creates a new one
    • Test with a different Google account
