    I am getting 404 error once i login via my custom url. I am locked out of my dashboard, your redirect option for wp-login and wp-admin folder is locking us out once we activate the plugin. I am using siteurl/postname format for permalink I dont think this should have any issue,

    I activate the plugin then save permalink again then when i log out and log in again i get 404 for all my wp dashboard pages

    Try to deactivate the plugin reaching your file by FTP.

    In /wp-content/plugins, rename the wp-hide-login folder.

    You’ll be able to log in with th wp-login.php slug

    It looks to me that you will need to login at siteurl/wp-admin until this vulnerability is fixed. Hope that helps.

    Any word on when this might be fixed? I just installed on a WP 6.4.3 site and was locked out (object not found when using the new login slug) until I disabled the plugin. Moving the login is a great help at reducing the rampant hacking attempts, thanks for making this plugin!

    BTW, I think I see the problem. I have another site using the plugin and it shows the login URL in the settings page as
    https://mysite.com/ _____________ where the underscores are the box for the new slug.

    On a new install, the login URL in settings is:
    https://mysite.com/? ________________

    Note the question mark which is shown at the end of the fixed portion of the URL.

    Hello @dalbert,

    The ? appears when your permalinks are set to simple. You can change that in Settings –> Permalinks.
