Hyphen at Start of Title
-
Hi,
I’m reasonably new to WordPress. I’ve set up a website with a few friends for a business called TradesmanNow. We’ve had a lot of people involved in setting the website up and now I’m backtracking to try and make changes. The titles of deeper pages currently have a hyphen ” – ” at the start of the title. eg. the electricians page title currently says ” – Electricians in Sydney, Melbourne etc.”. I want to remove that hyphen.I use a plugin called ‘Add Meta Tags’ to set the titles up and the title field in that plugin for that page currently says “Electricians in Sydney, Melbourne etc.” (no hyphen). The hyphen was also there prior to me installing the plugin so I know it has nothing to with the plugin. I’m thinking maybe it’s linked to the theme.
I deleted the site title which was “TradesmanNow” because previously the electricians page title said “TradesmanNow – Electricians in Sydney, Melbourne etc.” This removed the TradesmanNow part at the start but the hyphen remained.
Any ideas?
