Hyperlinks not working on home page

  • The hyperlinks on my home page work fine while the slider is loading (it takes a little while) but once the slider is loaded, they aren’t clickable. The same is true for the “The Full Story” and my social media icons on the right hand sidebar. The widgets work just fine on other pages, just not the home page. And only after the slider has loaded.

    Can someone assist so the hyperlinks work on the home page? I’ve tried to disable the slider to see if that would help but I can’t determine how to do it.

    I’m working with the free Athena theme and not the Pro version.
