Hyperlinks not showing up

I recently started using Newsliner for my blog. The links are all working, but they look the same as the rest of the text. They only change color (red) if you are hovering over that particular word. How do I get them to look red all the time so that the reader knows it’s a link?
I’ve seen that some other people have had the same problem but with different themes.
It’s not a problem with a particular page — it just does that with all the pages.

Also: I am brand-new to all of this (I am just a writer!), so if someone can really dumb it down and tell me WHERE to paste the required code for this, I would appreciate it!
