  • Hi,

Did you copy this link tag from somewhere? It looks like the link tag uses curly quotation marks rather than straight ones. This creates invalid HTML.

    <a href=”https://www.grammy.com/”target=”new”>GRAMMY Awards</a>

    should be

    <a href="https://www.grammy.com/" target="new">GRAMMY Awards</a>

If you didn’t copy this url but the editor inserted the link like this I’d disable all plugins to ensure they are not causing the issue.

    Cheers!

    Thanks for replying Curdin.

Well, that solved the problem! Don’t know how the “curly” quote marks got there because I type in my links by hand, HTML style. But I didn’t have the space between the quote and the word target so this may have caused wordpress to change it?

Any way, thanks again. Now I have to go through posts and update … yikes!

    Kriss
