Hyperlink is producing unwanted query string. How to remove?

Hello,

In the post below, the linked text “furniture in the room” (located about halfway down the page) is linked to https://www.bouclair.com/CategoryLanding/1486-FURNITURE.aspx

https://digthisdesign.net/decor-furnishings/rearranging-your-furniture/

The problem is that once hovered over, the hyperlink seems to prefetch the site and then generates a long query string. I need to remove this so the link ends in the extension .aspx

I have updated to the most current version of wordpress, all plugins have been updated. I have deactivated all plugins (including W3 Total Cache, which I thought might be the culprit), tested it, and the problem still remains.
