Hyperlink documents from a local network server to wordpress website

Hi there,

We would like to create a basic wordpress website that will be used to share documents with staff. Each staff will have their own login details. They travel alot so they will access this from different locations.

The documents that we have are stored on a local network server (eg IP of server:192.168.11.25). Documents are frequently added and changed by a few managers who have access to the server.

I do not want to add the documents to WordPress directly because it will mean i have to continuosly keep on uploading changed documents (they are not website literate enough to log into wordpress and do things).

I rather the managers have access to it on the server and when they change something on the server, the website will automatically update.

The thing is, how do i go about linking the documents from our server to the wordpress site? is this possible?

I would really appreciate any assistance I can get.
