    Hi there @nfwro,

    Thanks for reaching out!

The link conversion you are seeing is a result of the MailPoet link tracking. This is how we are able to track open and click rates.

If you prefer not to use this feature you can disable it in MailPoet > Settings > Advanced > Open and click tracking.

    I hope this helps!

Thank you so much – it does. However, I’m a little confused – if I create a link in my newsletter, why would it be converted to go back to the originating website rather than the link I’ve created? I’m missing something here I think!

    Hi there @nfwro,

if I create a link in my newsletter, why would it be converted to go back to the originating website rather than the link I’ve created?

It happens due to the link tracking feature. If the link points to another site, we won’t be able to track its usage. Instead, it uses your site URL first.

I hope this clarifies a bit, but please let us know if you have any questions!

    Hi there @nfwro,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
