• Hi there
I am new to wp and I am tryping to change a simple link in the theme (top left corner, the picture which has a link to blog.lings.ch needs to be changed). But it turned out that this is not that simple as it is coded in the template. So I made a child of the theme with Child Theme Configurator Version 2.3.0.4. Now to change the files I found in the Child Theme Configurator an entry: “Click to edit files using the Theme Editor” but whenever I press it I get an “403 Forbidden Permission denied. Our sentries tell us that you should not be here.” !?! What am I doing wrong?

Another thing to mention: In many videos or tips I saw, that there is an editor in Appearance / Editor. But in my installation there is no editor. The only editor I found was the editor for the plugins.

We host the website with WordPress and we have a business account. Anything else to mention?

    Thanks a lot
    Cheers Sambadagio

  • It seems you’re using premium theme, I would suggest to ask in theme support.

It’s possible that the theme which you’re using blocking the theme editor, did you checked this behaviour with any other theme ?
