So I have to pay $49 just for four hyperlinks?

You can add hyperlinks by editing the code also.
Just open up index-service.php and look for

<i class="fa <?php echo $current_options['home_service_one_icon']; ?> home_media_icon_1x fa-inverse"></i>

You need to wrap the icon tag with the anchor link tag.

Now you may simply insert the link in the a href tag ??

Try above for all the service icons.

No one is forcing you to sign up ??
