HypderDB and Master/Master DB replication

  • Hi,

    I’m using WPMS on an environment that features a single codebase that talks to two duplicated databases behind a load balancer. The DBs are master/master so the codebase writes to both simultaneously.

    We’re getting some errors back when wp-cron.php tries to run on both DBs at the same time. Basically, the tasks due to run in wp-cron execute at the same time but only one set executes successfully.

    Would HyperDB fix this issue?

    More information about the problem here. I’m not using HyperDB yet because as far as I can see, its only for master/slave replication. Not multi-master.
