How To Embed Mp3 Songs On My WordPress Site Hosted on Free Server

  • Hye Guys! I am newbie to wordpress. I have a site in wordpress and want to place music on it which everybody can listen to and can download. The problem is that my webhoting plan doesnt allow me to do that. So I want to know if i can host freely my mp3 songs on any free webhosting site and embed it on my wordpress site for listening to and download. I be greatefull for your kind help and time. Thanks

  • Hi Jawed,

    You could use soundcloud. It has a free plan for a certain amount of storage. You can embed the soundcloud tracks into your website?

    Otherwise, if you just wanted to have the files stored with links to them, you could use something like dropbox or google drive but you couldn’t stream them from there as far as I know.

    Thank you so much Neil. I have tried SoundCloud on my local server its doing well. I am trying to find some other song hosting service if any. I had found a site kiwi6.com that offers free audio hosting but i do not know the procedure to embed it in wordpress. I need help of the seniors just like you. I hope it be fixed and I keep continue my experiences.
