    Hi Team,

I’m having some issues with the Hustle App, with the Mailchimp API connection specifically.

    The error in Hustle is:
There was an error fetching the data. Please review your settings and try again.

Mailchimp is showing the API connection, but rejecting it with the response:
The requested resource could not be found.

Steps I have tried so far (on two separate dev environments with their own domain name etc):-

    1. Uninstall all other plugins
    2. Roll back WordPress Core version (Have tried 5.1 and 5.0.4)

I have this error appearing on two development environments, and also in my live environment. I have removed the plugin from my live environment for now, while I work on getting this issue sorted.

Are there any other things I should be looking for? So far I’m mystified.

    Lovely looking plugin otherwise :S

How did I get to be the special one with no assistance thus far?

So I guess the answer to my question is “Don’t use this plugin, it doesn’t work”

Thanks very much for the lack of support guys.

    Hello @ytimid

    Hope you are doing well!

I apologize for the delay in this thread.

Please see if MailChimp is blocked by your server. Find the list of Mailchimp’s IP here:
    https://mailchimp.com/about/ips/

Or please see if Mailchimp itself is blocking the server as well for any reason.

If the above will not work, please contact your hosting provider and ask id Mod_Security module is enabled. If it is, please temporary deactivate it and see if the MailChimp will connect successfully.

Let us know how it went!

    Kind regards,
    Nastia

Mailchimp is functional on my live site with an alternative plugin (which I disabled to run this plugin, and reinstalled after finding this plugin didn’t work). Mailchimp also works on both my test environments, again with other plugins which were removed prior, and reinstalled all working afterwards.

So I know that this isn’t the issue.

    BUT that’s a nice suggestion.

    Any others?

I have just attempted to uninstall all my mailchimp plugins on my live environment (no issue with any other mailchimp plugin…), and replace with Hustle, but STILL no Mailchimp connection.

The same error keeps coming up. ??

    Argh this is so frustrating.

I really want this plugin to work as it contains the features I require, but right now I’m not sure it’ll ever work.

Whatever is in the code for the connection to mailchimp is just getting rejected by mailchimp. On ALL my environments, where other mailchimp plugins work fine.

Mailchimp reports the same error for all of them.

Thus I’m fairly sure it’s a problem with the plugin connection code.

I’m using WordPress 5.1.1 (downgraded back to this for your plugin!)
I do have a bespoke theme, but there’s no reason this should be a factor given other mailchimp plugins have worked.
I’ve got your latest version of Hustle.

The API connection just won’t work.

I can’t be the only person with this problem.

    Hello @ytimid ,

I’m very sorry this is not working on your site.

I have tested Mailchimp connection on my site and it connected correctly. I have checked also if there were similar reports like yours in our system, but there wasn’t.

Can you tell me what PHP version is on your site? Can you also enable debug.log in one of your WordPress’es and try connecting again?

After that please share with us the debug.log file so we can check it.
