We have integrated Mailchimp using API keys, but the emails collected in Hustle are not being added to the Mailchimp contact list at all.

Any help in resolving this issue would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hello @scody

An easy way to troubleshoot this, is by adding the Local List integration as well.

Then try to use the form once more and check the Local List for the latest submission

Let us know what’s the message in the “Data sent to integration” column.

    Thank you,

    Hello Dimitris,

    Thank you for your response.

I have checked all the Emails collected by Hustle, in all of them the “Data sent to integration” column value is “Yes”, but when I see the further details from the dropdown, I find all new entries have “Member status” as “pending”. When I check for these new emails in Mailchimp Audience, I do not find them at all. If the email collected and sent to Mailchimp already exists in Mailchimp Audience then the “Member status” is shown as “subscribed” for that entry in the Emails list.

Can you explain why is it so and what does it mean?

    Thanks

    Hi @scody

    Hope you are doing well.

The pending means that you are not subscribing the users automatically and it is waiting for the confirmation.

To modify this behaviour you can edit the integration and check the subscribe users automatically.

Hustle > PoPup > Integration > MailChimp > [x] Automatically opt-in new users to the mailing list.

Let us know if you need any further help on this.

    Hi Patrick,

    Thank you for your solution.

Now I have checked the option to subscribe user automatically, as directed by you. But will this work on already collected data in the Emails list? If not how can we transfer that data to Mailchimp?

    Thanks

    Hello @scody ,

I’m afraid this will only work for the new subscribers. You can import contacts from the Hustle local list that are not in the Mailchimp using CSV file as instructed here https://mailchimp.com/help/import-contacts-mailchimp/

    kind regards,

Thank you WPMU DEV Support team.

I am having the same problem, mailchimp is not getting anything from the plugin.
I do not see how to check the option to subscribe user automatically
Also I do not see how to choose auto subscribe vs confirm new regiestrants.

    Hi @ohorses

    I hope you’re well today!

I understand that the the issue seems to be the same but it doesn’t necessarily mean it has the very same reason. Would you please start a separate ticket of your own, as per this forum’s guidelines? We’ll assist you there.
