Hundreds of duplicates tmptitle and files

    Hi!
    We had an issue multiple times now where the files of certain posts were saved as hundreds of duplicates in the media library. The post itself didn’t get posted and instead “tmptitle” was added hundreds of times in the posts section.

    After searching through the support board and trying to figure out the problem ourselves we found out the issue happens if one of the authors posts something with a pdf-file. We used the same .pdf-file the previous author used when the issue arose the last time.

    If a pdf-file is attached the mail gets “stuck” in the inbox (in our case GMX), Postie can’t process it and the aforementioned problem happens because it tries to process the mail over and over.
    The process can only be stopped by deleting the mail in the inbox.

    Below i will add some screenshots. The author mentioned in the mail is registered, so we are not completely sure how this is connected

    Is there any way to resolve this issue?

    Based on your description I would guess you are running out of memory. You will need to work with your host to increase available memory or decrease the size of the PDF.
