huge wp_comments table filled with WooCommerce order status records

    I’m having performance issues on my site and we have found that the wp_comments table is filled with WooCommerce order status records, over 33,281mb worth!

    We aren’t using comments on our website so what’s the implication to my WooCommerce store if I drop the wp_comments table?

    Hi there,

    It’s strange to hear that your wp_comments table is filled with WooCommerce order status records. Perhaps you have any plugins that alter the way your orders are handled?

    While you might get away with simply dropping wp_comments table if no other plugins are using that – I’d still recommend backing your site up first.
