Huge traffic load

Since we’ve installed Bannerize, we get a huge traffic load.

Bannerize 1.3.4
wpXtreme 1.2.7It seems to have something to do with the WordPress Heartbeat. Can we use a cache-plugin or reduce the traffic load in any other way?
