Huge speed gains by disabling Yoast

I disabled Yoast and I couldn’t believe the speed gains I achieved!

What have they done to Yoast in the past year or two?? I used to install it everywhere, and was about to pay for Premium on this one site until I tracked the source of the incredible lag to Yoast.

And I see the Internet is flooded with complaints about how Yoast now causes a site to lag in every aspect. Disabling features like readability, switching to a plain theme did nothing: it’s a flaw now with the Yoast plug-in itself.

It’s too bad, I loved Yoast, but they turned it into bloatware! That’s always the beginning of the end for software.
