    Hey Giannis,

Thank you for the great plugin!

I have two issues and I need your advice.

    1) I found a database with table postmeta full of rows with meta_key value “longer-permalinks-post-name-longer”. It’s 6,5GB!!! Is it OK if I go on and delete these rows?

    2) Amongst them I see meta_value with values like “2577-revision-v1” which actually replaced somehow the original URL and I have to go to the back-end and revert the URL manually. Is it a known issue? Is there a workaround?

    Thank you in advance,
    Yannis Develekos

    Hello Yiannis!

Can you please check which plugin version was running when this happened?
    Was this on 1.17?

    Thank you.

I have same problem using v 1.2 on wordpress 5.3.2 . All Mysql disk used and there are thousands of longer-permalinks-post-name-longer values in the Table.

Hi @alihoseiny, were you using an older plugin version before version 1.20?
Or was this a fresh install of the plugin?

For a quick fix: You can safely delete all those records with that value from wp_postmeta table (value “longer-permalinks-post-name-longer”) without a problem.

We cannot reproduce this problem but we are investigating the issue and will have news the soonest possible.

    Thank you.

Thanks for you response. I’ve updated from the previous version.
    Thank you.

Dear @alihoseiny let me ask you:
Are you on a network WordPress installation or on a single WordPress website installation?

    Thank you.

    Dear @develekos @alihoseiny,

the last update (v1.21) should successfully handle the problem you reported and also automatically remove any redundant postmeta records.

Please do not hesitate to contact us for anything you might need.

I confirm that our problem has been solved with the last update. Thank you for the immediate response @antithesisgr

Thank for your response. But my problem did not solve. I still got those rows in my database.

    Dear @alihoseiny,
so you did the update to the latest version right?
About how many posts does your website have?
And how many rows do you have in postmeta table with value “longer-permalinks-post-name-longer”?

    Thank you.

Sorry for the late answer. I am using the latest version. I only have 34 posts and there are 586 rows with that value.

    Hi @alihoseiny,
please try to go to version 1.20 and then to do the upgrade to 1.21.
The upgrade to 1.21 is deleting all those values in postmeta table and generates them again, so it is possible this is normal.

If you still have the problem you can follow the plugin author’s link to contact us in order to investigate specifically your case and follow up here at the end.

    Thank you.

Hi @elmaazon thank you for using the support forum.
If you have created longer links that than WordPress default allowance by using the plugin, after you deactivated/uninstalled the plugin all your long URLs is expected to stop working. All links that have less characters that the default WordPress limitation should be working. The long URLs will not. This is normal.

Please open a new thread for more, since this thread here is not related to that.

    Thank you.

i opend new one please help ??
