• Hi,
I have been trying to get WordPress to run on several of my HostExcellence-hosted websites for a while now, and each time, I double check my config.php file to make sure I have all the correct data, I go through the install #1 page and when I get to the second page, I have about 600 lines of code, then a “Success!” message with my username and (hidden) password along with a “login” button. I click on the login button and it reverts back to the first page of the installer. I have tried everything from re-registering my domain, chatting with H.E. support, re-installing the files so does anyone know what is wrong or how to fix it?

Also, the last line of the error code before it says “Success!” is this:

No recipient addresses found in header.

Just in case that helps at all.

Edit: Here is a link to the error message, cut and paste into a Google Docs document: https://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=0AQxYp0oyEiD-ZDg5bTRxY182NmN0cjg4Ymhu&hl=en&authkey=CPXiut4O

    Thanks in advance!

    -J.D.

  • What advice has HostExcellence given? Do they have phone support that you can use to maybe have them run the install.

It is obvious that the C299323_admin user is having some issues writing to the database.

    JD,
I had the same problem with the same host. My problem was that I didn’t assign all permissions to the database user. Go into My Database Manager and click the Edit for the correct database user and check all boxes under “Current Status”.

You may have already fixed the problem but this is the solution for anyone looking for an answer. ??
