Huge number of queries running

  • I am using BadgeOS, as well as BadgeOS-Congratulations plugins on my e-learning website (I use Woothemes Sensei for the elearning side of things). These are all up-to-date.

    I have been trying to investigate some performance problems and have isntalled query monitor and discovered that badgeos is running hundreds of queries on each page. Almost all of these are related to repeated calls of badgeos_get_hidden_achievement_by_id().

    This is even on pages that don’t even display any badges. Has anyone else had such a thing occur? Is there any potential corrections?

    Just as a follow up, I have found if I deactivate Woothemes Sensei these massive number of queries disappear. Not sure whether that is just because all of my BadgeOs achievements are linked to Sensei activities though, or if it is some form of conflict.
