Hi, I imported the product from Amazon with the plugin WooZone.

WooCommerce allows to set the width of the image. I initially kept the default, 600px and then I tried other sizes, 500px, 400px, etc… I do not see any changes.

Anyway, the pics, when the item is frontal, become huge as the pics try to fill completely the width. How can I fix this?

    thank you,
    Marco

    Hi Marco!

It looks like the uploaded file is 366×500 and is being resized to 576×923.06 do to your theme. That might be what you are seeing. Does your theme have a suggested size for product images?

Resizing it should fix the issue. If not please contact your theme developer so that they can provide you the exact sizes for your product images ??

    Cheers!

    Hi Gabriel,
    Thank you for answering.

The point is that these are pics imported automatically from Amazon and I should not resize the pics in any way otherwise there would be no point in using a plugin to import products automatic.

The only solution came up to my mind is to have the pics automatically imported and the ones which have short width, being added canvas up to the width needed.

    Does it make sense? ??

As this scenario is dependant on you importing products using a third-party plugin, I’d recommend speaking to the team who support the WooZone plugin.

Since this functionality is not part of the core WooCommerce plugin, but another plugin, I will mark this thread as Resolved for now, but please do open a new one if you need any more help!

    Thanks,

    Hi

    Thank you for replying.

I’ll add the following message here as it is regarding the same thing.

WooZone imports the pics, but what manages the size of the pictures is WooCommerce.

That is why I asked you from WooCommerce.

The images imported not always have the same size, and their width is not always the same. Hence, the pictures with smaller width are stretched horizontally in order to fill the picture container resulting in a much bigger height.

I was then wondering how to import the pics without WooCommerce resizing them.
Or again, how to give a maximum height.

    Thank you,
    Marco
