Huge image and icons on blog display page

Hi there!
After your upgrade I tried to activate the simple author box to see if this bug is repaired. Unfortunately, it is not. As it is a live business page I cannot leave it to show you and I don’t know how to show the screenshots I made in this forum. While the plugin works more or less okay on the post pages (turning off the display of the author’s website does not work either though), on the main blog page that displays the posts, the image is shown without scaling. On my screen (laptop) the icons are about 16 (yes: sixteen) cm hight, the profile image about 8 cm. Is there a way to change that? I would love to use the plugin, but like this I can’t… Thank you in advance, Saskia
