Huge file import

  • I have tried to increase memory to ludicrous amounts and I still get an error. Right now, my file is about 1Gb (14k posts and 600k comments) in total.

    Is there a chance that I can import all this content to wordpress?
    I also tried blogger importer extended but there are too many comments for it to process in a reasonable amount of time.

    I actually managed to increase the memory but the importer does nothing. It’s just empty below the title, no feedback, no errors.

    There is no possible way that it will import a 1gb file. It loads the whole thing into memory. You’d need 3gb available to even try it.

    Do you know of any alternative I can use? I do have 3gb of memory available but it still shows me nothing after “upload”.
