Huge Display – Looks like phone but is on desktop

  • After the most recent update of WordPress my admin console and all other admin pages are huge. It looks like it is displaying the phone version but I’m running a desktop browser Safari 12.1.12. I have created a screenshot which is in the Link.

    I have not changed my plugins nor my theme nor to anything else on my WP blog.

    I made sure that my web browser is browsing as itself, the desktop version of Safari 12.1.12.

    I tried quitting out of the web browser and reopening.

    I tried restarting the computer just to be complete about things.

    I tried deactivating all plugins but that did not change the situation.

    Question is, how do I get back to my normal display of WP admin that I’ve enjoyed for years?

    Could you have the zoom level set to something large in Safari? Try zooming out. Opt-Cmd-minus IIRC.

    If not that, do you have a different computer or browser you can try? I really think it’s something about your browser in some way.
