Huge disk space issue caused by plugin (created 5 million un-needed images)
-
First off, I need to say this plugin rocks, it was everything I was looking for..
But after using it for a few weeks I realized I am now out of hard drive space…
I have about 400 sites running wordpress, each with several thousand images…
The problem is, this plugin appears to be creating like 3 or more copies of each file. It resizes them into different sized thumbs.. and disregards what I have in the media settings. (set to 0x0 to disable them)
Is there a way to make it only do one size?
i.e.: the only size that is necessary is 150×150..My problem is, my server is now almost out of disk space because an additional 8,400,000 images have been created…
(figuring 400 wp installs * 7,000 images each * 3 additional copies of the same image= 8,400,000 images created when only less than 3 million small 150×150 images are needed, this results in over 5 million larger resized images eating up all of my hard drive space).
Whenever I try to delete the larger resized images, they are regenerated.. (And cleaning up the extra 5 million plus is going to be a real task).
If there was a way to select what size images should be and should not be generated, it would make this plugin perfect..
