Huge disappointment

I thought, well why not try this new editor. Within a very short time I was dismayed by the clunky interface and the abysmal lack of most anything useful. Widgets that used to be available with the click of a mouse were now gone, replaced with a handful of half baked replacements. Even the slightest bobble with the mouse gets you yet another “block” which you then have to perform more jymnastics to delete. Even something as basic as a carousel is a nightmare. You cant resize it and when viewed on older browsers, the pictures are all different sixes. So I pushed on, trying some buttons. When I made the text bold, it displayed the markuo instead of the text, obviously a bug. Then there is the lack of any sort of WYSIWYG. I was hoping this “improvement” would add this, but no. Makes me think the developers are pushing Joomla or Drupal, as the Google searches for WordPress alternatives have risen sharply in the last few months. I think I still have a copy of Macromedia Dreamweaver somewhere…
