Hueman Theme with Woo Commerce

    Hi,

    I have added woo commerce to my site and noticed that there is a lot of strain on wp-admin/admin-ajax.php from this plugin and subsequently the db.

    Can you confirm if the theme is not compatible with woo commerce or is it just an issue with the plugin in general?

  • Hi,

    I’ve had others using WooCommerce without issues with the theme. To check if the issue you are experiencing is theme related or WooCommerce related, I’d test changing to a default theme like TwentyTwelve and see if the issue goes away. If it does, then it may be something to do with OptionTree (the theme options framework) – although I find it unlikely.

    Thanks for getting back to me.
    I made the change you requested to the twenty twelve theme and i can see that the strain on admin-ajax.php still exists so it must be a woocommerce plugin issue as ive uninstalled the plugin and checked just with your theme and there is no call to admin-ajax.php

    I will add to the Woo Commerce support forum.
