I am having problems running The Events Calendar plugin (free edition)in the Hueman theme. Trying to access the calendar gives a 404 error. Any solution for this issue?

  • I’ve had TEC running fine from day 1. It’s not a problem with Hueman. Tribe support will be able to help you.

One thing I would say is make sure you’ve actually created a Page for your calendar and then, in the plugin settings, tell it to display the calendar on that page.

You can see mine here: https://www.fastinfastout.com/track-days-calendar/

I created a page called “Track Days Calendar” and told TEC to display there.

Thanks for your reply agershon. Been a while since I used this plugin, and I do not remember if older versions required a page for displaying the calendar. I am planning to install it on a test domain in a day or two. I′ll let you know how it turns out ?? Thanks again

I had similar problems with Events Calendar. It’s a great plugin (I especially like the Facebook auto-import feature) but unfortunately, some themes don’t play well with it, because the Calendar page is a virtual page not a real one.

My new testinstall with Hueman theme and The Events Calendar is working – so I have no idea why it failed on my previous installation. The plugin does not require a page for displaying. As default, the calendar will show under the url ending with /events/. Like Thea says, the calendar page is a virtual page, not a real one. Thanks anyway for comments an suggestions.
