We setup cookiebot following this cookiebot article but we are running into issues with hubspot still setting cookies without consent. The cookies we noticed that are still getting set and coming from the plugin are __hstc, hubspotutk, __hssrc, __hssc. We confirmed that these cookies are coming from the HubSpot – CRM, Email Marketing, Live Chat, Forms & Analytics plugin by deactivating and no longer seeing the cookies getting set. We also confirmed that in cookiebot the cookies are not set as necessary so they should be getting blocked since we have blockingmode set to auto. Any help here is appreciated!

    Thanks!

Hi @dwalizer2, Thanks for your message.

Currently those authentication cookies are necessary – (I’ll follow up on why they are not marked as necessary) in order to enable most of the features inside the plugin, eg. Email and Contacts options at the sidebar menu. Please note we are currently working on removing those options of the plugin and removing any dependency on those authentication cookies and any other 3rd party cookies. In the meanwhile disabling 3rd party cookies on your browser should prevent these cookies being set.

Let me know if this answer your question

    Hi @harthur90

What is the status of the authentication cookie removals that you mentioned in your earlier reply? Currently the implementation seems to be against GDPR.

Can you also elaborate why the authentication cookies have been necessary?

    Same problem here!

Yes, I can also confirm the plugin injects tracking JavaScripts into the page in server-side thus not working with any CMP’s. I cannot find any setting that allows me to integrate consent for HubSpot scripts.

I don’t think this is comply with GDPR.
