Hubspot plugin loading GTM script

    Hi there, I’m finding an odd behaviour with the plugin.

    When it’s activated, it’s loading the following line;
    <script async="" src="https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtag/js?id=AW-XXXXXXX"></script>

    Should it be doing this? And, how can I prevent the load of this line?

    If I tried entering my GTM tracking manually, it’ll report that 2 instances of AW-XXXXXXX is loaded on the script.

    Hi @dannyfoo. This is definitely not expected.

    We can’t reproduce it on our side though, could you send us a URL that shows the problem?

    Hey @mlamacchia , I asked this on behalf of a client and we’ve got a ticket with the Hubspot team now. In the ticket, I had shared a screen recording reproducing the issue from our end.

    For the moment, we decided to deactivate the HS plugin and manually add the tracking code via GTM.

    As the larger issue we’re facing is that traffic is no longer showing up on their GA when using the HS plugin ???♂?

    I’ll close this thread now, since we’re already in communication with your team.

    FYI @mlamacchia I found this happening on a newly installed version of WP as well. The plugin was loading a GTM script, which was also loading various ad tracking scripts (FB, Linkedin, GAds). I deactivated the plugin and all of the scripts stop loading.
