• this is probably obvious to some but if you use the api wordpress generater for bbpress it sometimes create an empty space at the end for one of the keys. Can this be fixed. After whacking my brain over why I cannot get cookie integration with bbpress I realized my careless cut and paste of that empty space which it sometimes generates will cause it unable to integrate.

    What do you mean by ‘extra space’?

    Like a space after the ; or a space IN the key?

    example: this is the key ‘ljadfuiaosufoiajsefoajef ‘
    see the space at the end inside the quote. that space.

    Wow. I’ve never seen that happen. In theory, though, if the line ends correctly it should be okay, since the space is inside the apostrophes.

    define('NONCE_KEY', 'CA{e>[hb+^le|fyqOIV*20n{00Nyovu.[[H==}!%+|s3 jLOuTf2qg,.VbX5}Lq ‘);`

    it could just as well be my imagination because I always do this stuff late at night but all I know is empty space = double logon. Remove empty space and single logon, single logout.

    This probably only applies to wordpress (not wpmu) because it doesn’t create these keys and when you paste it(just the key) into bbpress config the spaces are removed so you are left with a cut and paste job in wp-config of a space that will not match.

    AH! So perhaps the fix is ‘Copy the key from wp-config.php, not from the bbPress interface.’?

    That is bizarre.
