    The only .htaccess rule that the plugin adds to protect the login, redirects to https://127.0.0.1 to visitors that access directly to wp-login.php AND have a blank user-agent. So according to your description of the issue, it could be two of the following things:

    – You’re browsing with a blank user-agent.

    – Your server is returning a blank value for {HTTP_USER_AGENT} to mod_rewrite.
