http schema on a https site

Not having that issue on our https sites with Yoast SEO.

Make sure you add your site URL fully written out with https://yoursite in your wp-config.php file (see www.remarpro.com codex docs on editing your wp-config.php file).

We do this with our sites as it expressly puts in the https for all WP stuff to 100% know the https URL is one to use, as well as https path to our plugin folder.

Might not help your setup, but that works for us. If your site isn’t https, then it’s a non issue for you.

If you are referring to this element at top, it doesn’t matter for an https site as it’s not rendered as part of the page so does not need to be https.

Also, forgot to mention in prior answer —

https://ogp.me/ is a shortcode redirect to the actual element from Facebook open graph protocol; and that shortcode site does not actually yet have https capability (try it in a web browser note the security warning).

It was forcing a popup window in IE browsers for the http schema link. Its not a problem now. I was able to find a function to remove the schema link.
