• I installed WordPress on an OpenBSD 3.7 system. I’m new to OpenBSD but not to Apache. When I try to view the main page, I get this in the Apache log:

    192.168.204.1 – – [09/Jul/2005:20:30:41 -0500] “GET /wordpress/index.php/index.php/index.php/index.php/index.php/index.php/index.php/index.php/index.php/index.php/index.php/index.php/index.php/index.php/index.php/index.php/index.php/index.php/index.php/index.php/index.php HTTP/1.1” 301 548 “-” “Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050524 Fedora/1.0.4-4 Firefox/1.0.4”

I had originally tried to redirect ‘/wordpress’ to ‘/wordpress/index.php’, but that didn’t work and I removed the line. Now Firefox is complaining that the maximum amount of redirects has been reached and refuses to load the page (any page, including the admin functions).

So something is getting in the way of Apache handling the request. Any ideas?
