HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found

  • my site was working ok when sudenly muy hosting company shut it down beacuse it was spending too much resources from the server.

    the only error and explanation i could find was this:

    Warning: getimagesize(https://www.galeriaislaflotante.com.ar/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/1011971_10152128594060200_398329778_n.jpg): failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found in /home/galeriai/public_html/wp-content/plugins/gallery-images/Front_end/gallery_front_end_view.php on line 48

    when i deactivate the plugin everythings works fine and the server resources are normal.

    why is this? what does it mean? is it fixable or i should just quit this plugin and find anotherone?

  • Dear user, please tell me when did you install our gallery (date) and which version of wordpress you use.
    there is a function in our codes which optimize hd images and minimize them in order to load quicker, and as I understand your wordpress version doesn’t accept it. We can turn off that function for you. and send modified file, contact [email protected]

    I am using wordpress 4.2.3

    I dont racall the exate date when I installed Huge-IT Image Gallery 1.2.8, mor or less two months ago. At first worket fine, but sudenly it started to use too much resourses.

    Is it posible that the error is generated when uploading images with large names like “1011971_10152128594060200_398329778_n.jpg”?

    Dear lulupont , it is using much resources can be from large images. The name of jpg doesn’t matter. To see the problem well can you send us your url.
