HTTP link created for CSS instead of HTTPS, website now "insecure" in firefox

  • Hi Guys,

    I noticed that in Firefox, my website has a warning triangle when I use your pluginn. In Chrome it doesn’t show.
    When I deactivate your pluginn, the warning triangle is gone in firefox.

    What I found out is that the following code is generated on the website:

    <link rel=’stylesheet’ id=’searchandfilter-css’ href=’https://xxxxxxxxxxxx

    The other style elements use https for example:
    <link rel=’stylesheet’ id=’collapseomatic-css-css’ href=’https://xxx
    <link rel=’stylesheet’ id=’contact-form-7-css’ href=’https://xxxx

    However I don’t have a clue where this code is generated in your pluginn, of by my theme.

    Is this something you guys have to fix in the pluginn, or is it something I have to do?

    Thanks for flagging this, will need to look into – but it may depend on how you have your SSL setup in your site – are you using a plugin to “protect” specific pages?

    If your home_url has the https in it I’m sure it would work fine.

    This is still an issue.

    For example, when using CForm7 on a Woocommerce site, Woo forces https on the checkout pages and all urls update EXCEPT Contact Form 7. This is the css file in question.

    wp-content/plugins/cforms/styling/cforms.css

    Can you please update it to call the css path relatively so that it uses https instead of forcing http?
