• Hello WordPress community!

    I hope you will bear with a n00b as he struggles to get down the basics of WP.

    The problem: I am not able to access my site’s (https://www.koreaconnection.net) dashboard. When I try to do so I receive an “HTTP Internal Server Error”. The webpage is up and naviagable to visitors – just not to me!

    Relevant info: I activated the following plugins just prior to this problem popping up:

    * WP-Typography
    * WP-Pagenavi
    * Akismet
    * WP Cache

    I’ve tried creating a new plugins folder via FTP per WordPress’ recommendation, but it did nothing to solve the problem.

    I’ve also tried to find/access my .htaccess folder to see about adding a line of code that might circumvent this error, but I’ve decide to wait before mucking around in there. I dont want to make things worse.

    Any suggestions/miracle cures?

    My apologies if the relevant information is located somewhere on this forum. I’ve scoured the internet for a couple of hours and keep coming up empty handed.

    Thanks for any help!

    tpb

  • Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. You may need to try logging into your site to get this to kick in fully.

    resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.
