HTTP image error uploads and more

  • So I’ve just got wordpress hosted at https://www.boosterbutton.com and Im having problems developing it. Basically I went to upload an image and it stalled then said http error. Now when i try to upload I just get stalling loading bars with no error messages. Also, I tried to add a page and it lags out then loses all my content. I’ve tried different browsers etc and updating flash but not working. Sometimes when I click on a tab on the admin panel such as ‘dashboard’, the screen just doesnt even load.

  • Hi, the site is loading 10+ MB worth of images up front. In particular, optimize https://boosterbutton.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/111H-1.jpg so that the site will load faster. Cheers, Bo

    I’ve been using a WordPress site for a few years now, with the “Salient” theme. For the past month or two, I’ve been unable to add new photos to the site, regardless of the file size. I’ve tried uploading very small sized photos to photos over 1 MB, nothing uploads. “HTTP Error” keeps coming up, regardless of how I try to upload. I’ve tried uploading directly to the Media Library in WordPress or through the “Visual Composer” on the theme, nothing works.

    As stated, I’ve tried reducing the file sizes, still no luck.

    I’ve checked all plug-ins (I only use a few), no issues there. WordPress and the theme are both up to date.

    Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Darren, you may want to check to make sure you are not running out of space on your host server. -Bo

    @ bofrank – I think you are correct. I received an email from my hosting company last night requesting to up the resources. Thank you for the reply!
