• I encountered this problem since yesterday.

When I upload photos, none would actually upload, and I get the “HTTP error” message.

The images are only 600×450 pixels, and file sizes range between 100 to 300 kb. No apostrophes on the file names. I tried restarting my laptop a couple of times, too.

    Still, the HTTP error appears.

    Please advice.

  • I get this error intermittently. In my case it seems to be a theme issue – I have to temporarily switch to the default theme to get images uploaded, then switch back. I understand that others get this error due to a plugin conflict. If that is the case, disable plugins, upload images, re-activate plugins.

I also get the error when uploading jpg-files I got from a coworker. The indicator bar shows 100%, but it it then not processed.
When I converted the file to pdf, then saved the resulting pdf-file as jpg-file (from Acrobat XI Pro), it uploaded without problems.

This indicates that it is not a general upload problem but rather related to some feature of the file structure, or some information contained in the file.

I did try disabling the theme the first time, a week ago, and it worked. But last night, I did that again, and the same error popped up.

I also tried disabling the plugins, but same result. HTTP error.
