  • This is a server issue – not a WordPress one. You need to go back to your hosts about this.

I have been talking for 40 minutes with my host – in the end they logged into my account and uploaded a photo and it worked for them!

Or what would be possible be wrong at the host? Perhaps I can give them some hints …

I have been reproducing this issue on 2 different networks and 4 different browsers.

I run firebug and got the error:
    NetworkError: 503 Service Unavailable – https://magnusbogucki.com/blog/wp-admin/async-upload.php”

Strange thing is that I have tried this on 2 different networks can get the same error. Is it a chance the host didnt get an error because they were inside the network?

One more thing – I have another wordpress account hosted by the same company. I just went onto that site and uploaded with no problem.

Not sure what it tells me – cuz it cannot be my network as it works on one but not the other. I

It can be wordpress or host – I did try to deactive all plugins but still faced the same issue AND I reinstalled wordpress but still faced the same issue.

    What can it be?

what would be possible be wrong at the host?

It’s often a problem with the mod_security configuration on the server.

Any other proposal? My hosting company (one.com) says it works fine for them and htey believe it is a network issue – but I am facing this issue on two different networks and then I use another domain with them and then it works fine (which means the network should be fine).

Sorry – I have nothing else to offer. I’m willing to take a pretty serious bet that they need to adjust their mod_security rules and that they’re not seeing the issue because their own rules are not applying to them. For example, are they filtering based on IP?

    what is mod_security rules anyway?

It is odd because i have the domain magnusbogucki.com and magnusbogucki.se with the same host. The .se works without a problem but .com doesnt.

I have been running .com for several years and never had a problem but with .se I just purchased recently.

Did you have any luck finding out the answer?? I’m having the exact same problem!! Any tips would be appreciated!!
