HTTP Error when uploading featured image, but all other uploading works

  • I’m getting an http error when trying to upload a featured image.

    When I upload an image either from the media library or by clicking on add media within a post, it uploads without a problem, and if I select an image already in the gallery as a featured image, that is ok, but I can’t seem to upload when selecting to do so from the add featured image link.

  • This can be caused by an over-aggressive configuration of your server’s mod_security module. Try asking your hosts about it.
