• Hi,

I have an issue during the upload process when I create a new gallery (or an existent gallery).

I drag and drop the files to upload, and when I push the UPLOAD button, the percent don’t move up from 0% and passed 5 minutes (apache time-out) I receiva a warning error: HTTP ERROR.

    My scenario is:
    Wordpress 4.1 Multisite
NextGen 2.0.66.37 (activated for the network)

    Server config: https://www.llarlestel.com/infophp.php

If you need more information about my site or configuration, please, tell me how can I obtain it and I’ll send to you quickly.

Thank you for your time and support.

    Best regards,
    netelbcn

@netelbcn – Does this happen on every sub-site? Have you tried deactivating all plugins across all site (read: network deactivation) and using a default WordPress Twenty series theme. Then reactivating NextGEN Gallery only?

Have you ensured your sub-sites are being granted the necessary privileges to be able to write? Do you have disk space available to write to with the site restrictions you may have in place?

Please look at those various possibilities and let us know if you find any thing that way.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Yes, I did all these tests until post my issue here.

It occurrs in all the sub-sites, and the permission and space left on disk are ok (I verified this more than one time), and the user which is doing all te tests is the superadmin of the network…

The plugin worked fine during months, in fact I have near 50 galleries created and the upload method was the same that I’m trying now, but for something that I can’t understand, it don’t work now.

When this HTTP ERROR was showed at first time, the environment hadn’t any change neither update. I talked with my provider and they didn’t any change in the server.

I tried to modify the time-out execution time to 300 sec, because when I tried to upload pictures, usually the error appeara passed 120 sec (the same that it had in the php.ini), but I had no luck… Noe the HTTP ERROR is showed when 300sec are passed instead at 120 sec.

It seems like an time-out error or a communiction fail, but I trieed to do this upload form an MAC OSX, Windows and with IE, Chrome and FF…

Do you know if I could do anything to solve this error?

    Thank you for your time!

@netelbcn – If the process was working before and now its not, then something must have changed somewhere that is causing it to no longer work now.

What changes have taken place on your Multisite since this last worked? We generally test Multisite installations and have not had issues specifically with uploading due to Multisite itself.

    Hi,

No changes has made in the multisite. I’m totally sure, because I’m the only administrator of the site, and I didn’t do any change.

I tested the plugin on a clean environment (the same multisite WP with the default theme and without other plugins), and it don’t works propertly…

    OK, I will do it!

But, I’m looking the bug report form, and the WP versión 4.1 isn’t in the “WordPress versión” field… O_o
