• I’m using the most updated version, 4.4, and when I try to upload an mp3 I keep getting an error message that simply reads “HTTP Error.”

I’ve never encountered this problem before. What I’m trying to do is something that I have regularly done for years.

Okay, I’ve tried going through all of the tips, and I’m still getting the same error message. I disabled all the plugins and it is still occurring.

I know that we are supposed to be as detailed as possible, and part of the problem is that I’m just not very tech savvy, but there really are not that many details. I am trying to upload an mp3 into the media library, it crunches it (at least I think that’s what it’s called when it’s uploading it), it gets 100% completed, and then instead of it appearing in the library like it always has in the past, I’m getting a simple error message that reads “HTTP Error.” Nothing more.

    Thank you,

I would Suggest for FTP Uploading inside Gallery of Your Blog. and Link it from Add URL inside dashboard

Thank you, I will have to try that later. I’m not exactly sure how to do that, but that’s what Google is for.

Okay, one of my fellow web publishers seems to have figured out the issue. I had an apostrophe in the title of the mp3 that I was trying to upload, and apparently that was throwing everything out of whack. I have no idea how he figured that out, and I have no idea WHY that was a problem, but evidently that was the problem.

    Thank you for your help!
