• I’ve noticed that there are several WordPress users having this same problem. And I’ve also noticed that everybody seems to be guessing what the problem is and no one has come up with a firm answer.

I use WordPress to run my podcast at http;//www.hablandodetecnologia.com. Last Thursday I uploaded my show without any problem at all. I usually use a 150px X 150px image with each show and that worked perfectly.

Today I was attempting to upload an image that measures 1920px X 1080px (193KB) and I’m getting something called an “HTTP error”. I called my hosting company (Bluehost) and they said that it’s a WordPress problem and that they couldn’t help me.

Any idea how I can fix this?

I’m having the exact same issue.

I have not had the issue happen to me, but another user on the site had this happen to them all day.

Also, my partner has this happen in front of me, but upon site reload and a fresh upload attempt the error did not occur.

Any ideas? This is not on the master list of known issues.

I did check out the post above and I even tried several of the actions that it suggests. However, the problem prevails.

Upon further exploration I discovered the my site will upload smaller images (150px X 150px) but not the larger variety (1920px X 1080px).

This had never been a problem before 4.0.
