HTTP error upon uploading media

  • I’ve been getting a lot of HTTP errors across several different sites lately when I try to upload new media. The files are well beneath each site’s respective maximum. And it’s happening whether I upload the media from within the Media Library or from a page.

    What are the file extensions of the files you are trying to upload?

    You may get errors if the file lacks an extension or has any plugins which may block uploads (security or others)

    In this case it is was a .pdf. On another site, it was a .jpg. No new security plugins have been added between when this used to work and now.
