HTTP Error upon picture upload

    HEllo everyone,

    I’ve been trying to upload product pictures into my gallery, but been unable to do so as I keep getting an “HTTP error” recently. My coworker said that he is able to upload pictures from his laptop, however I am unable to do so from my work computer.

    The pictures are small in size, just like the preceding ones.
    Cache is cleared.

    Please I need help asap.

  • This is commonly caused by an over-aggressive configuration of your server’s mod_security module. Try asking your hosts about it.

    Dear Esmi,

    As you’ve advise, I’ve contacted the host.
    Turned out it was a plugin issue. When all plugins were deactivated, upload worked fine.
    “Contact form 7” plugin was causing this bug. Now I disable it every time I need to upload media.
