HTTP Error – Uploading video Files

  • Hi all,
    I am having the above issue on a local server install, all other media files are able to be uploaded without issue.

    Server Config:
    Server 2012 R2 + IIS 8
    Mysql 5.6.16
    PHP 5.3.28

    I Have tried the following:

    I increased the memory limit and max-upload in PHP.ini

    Tried a clean install again of all components with a default theme – in case it was a theme issue – still no good.

    BTW I also have the same issue on a windows 2008 server ( same versions of MYSQL and PHP )

    Anyone have an ideas as to what this may be?

    In addition to this, so far only one video file type ( .WMV ) is able to be uploaded
    The following ones I have tried and receive the red HTTP ERROR text
    mp4
    mov
    avi

    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    I to am having the same problem. I may have a solution. I tried to upload a flv type video file and it failed. error http look familiar? I then tried a wmv file and it uploaded without a problem. I have to go here in a sec and I have not tried this yet but have had another issue that worked. I will try it when I get back. Sorry to droan on. Anyway I believe it is a mime issue. located in the iis panel. I believe you have to add the extension and it will work. I have to go and I will try this when I get back. I hope it works check it out. I will let you know.
