• I am getting an HTTP error when I try uploading a few images and cannot for life of me get them uploaded. I have tried them multiple times with no success. They are all jpg images. Any suggestions?

  • You may need to contact your hosts about this. It’s usually a server issue – commonly a problem with the mod_security settings on the server.

What version of PHP is the site using and what is the allocated memory?

    It is using version 5.3.26.

i contacted my host and they verified that it was an issue with the smush.it plugin. Thanks for all your suggestions.

I just tried it after they told me it was an issue with the plugin, and that was not the issue. I got the error again right away.

I had the same issue and our support at our hosting company found the problem. Here is their fix:

While checking I am able to find some conflicting mod_sec rule for the domain internationalpress.org. I have disabled the rule for the domain now. Please monitor the site and update us if you feel any performance issue.

Have your hosting company check to see if their Mod Security is causing this issue. Mine works fine now.
